These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Boba Chinese ("we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
Boba Chinese provides an interactive Chinese learning platform designed for children aged 5-8 years old. Our Service includes:

Boba Chinese offers access to the mobile app through auto-renewable subscriptions ("Boba+") available for purchase within the iOS app. Two subscription options are offered:
New subscribers are eligible for a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your Apple ID will be charged the applicable price. Any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current subscription price.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
You can manage your subscription or turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Apple ID account settings on your iOS device:

Cancelling an active subscription does not provide a refund for the current billing period; you will continue to have access to Boba+ features until the end of your current billing period.
Customers who previously purchased lifetime access to Boba Chinese retain their lifetime access. No new lifetime purchases are available; new customers may subscribe via Boba+ Annual or Boba+ Monthly. Lifetime customers may restore their access at any time via the "Restore Purchases" option on the in-app subscription screen.

The Service and its original content, educational materials, games, and functionality are owned by Boba Chinese and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We are committed to protecting children's privacy and comply with applicable privacy laws, including COPPA.

All subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests for subscriptions must be submitted directly to Apple, as we do not have the ability to issue refunds for in-app purchases.

Refund decisions are made at Apple's sole discretion in accordance with their policies. We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a subscription period.
Customers who purchased lifetime access prior to the introduction of Boba+ subscriptions are covered by the refund terms in effect at the time of their original purchase. For questions about legacy lifetime refunds, contact hello@bbchinese.com.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Boba Chinese shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for your lifetime access.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
